Nigerians can enter certain countries without obtaining a visa in advance, making them visa-free countries. With a Nigerian passport, Nigerians have access to visa-free travel and faster visa processing for some countries where visa-free travel is not applicable. This faster visa processing allows for obtaining a visa on arrival or an E-visa.

E-visa (EV) or electronic visa, is a visa that is stored in a computer database. There’s no stamp or label placed on your passport. The eVisa is linked to the individual’s passport number and shows up on the immigration’s computer. Applications for E-Visas are done over the Internet. The applicant also receives a paper document to present while travelling.
